He
whispered, “God bless and keep you. I’ll
pray for you, for all of us.” He stepped
away but kept his hands on her shoulders.
Tears streaked down his cheeks. “Be
careful around those two demons. You don’t
know for sure what will happen when you’re no longer useful to them.”
