Six Sentence Sunday – Willow in the Desert
“If your patient is right, we’re up against aliens that can move during the day.
Because of that, night will be safer to travel:
cooler and under the cover of darkness.”
Looking unconvinced, her old friend said, “Right.”
He looked at Steve, who shrugged.
Carli understood his concern.
Since the alien invasion, they’d all been reduced to children afraid of the dark.
